A great idea . . .

The Lerner Garden of the Five Senses is packed with features to see, hear, smell, taste and touch and accessible to all. Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens formally opens its Lerner Garden of the Five Senses on Friday. The garden is part of the 28 acres of gardens in Boothbay. The sensory garden was designed by Herb Schaal, a noted landscape architect.

I am looking forward to trying the reflexology labyrinth, a path of many different-sized stones where one can walk in bare feet! The stones massage the feet. You can hear the water nearby and take in the natural beauty of the garden's plants and trees as you walk.
