Goldenrod . . .

The bright color is welcome in the garden late in the summer and on into the fall.

In addition to the beauty and an attraction for the bees goldenrod (Solidago canadensis) can be used in a salve for muscle trauma, pain and injuries, help strengthen the immune system, aid in prevention of allergies (especially allergies to cats) and sinus pain.
