Full Moon – June 26, 11:30 . . .
It's the Honey Moon!
The full moon that occurs this month was called the Mead Moon, because honey was fermented to make mead. That's where the word "honeymoon" comes from, because it's also a time for lovers.
Thank you, Garrison Keillor!
We opened the hive again today. All is well. More bees on the way. The bees are enjoying the American Linden which is covered with heavenly scented flowers.
