Several weeks ago a trip down the river to the beach provided us with sea clams aka hen clams and other names. Some were made into a clam stuffing from a recipe by Sue Lufkin of Essex MA, some into a clam chowder.
The shells will be used too! Some to a cousin to take home to Iowa, some to hold candles, appetizers or little things without a home, some to add to the driveway. The shells reflect light at night even when it is very dark.
Think recycle.
