Food as medicine . . .

Since it is cold and overcast the lovely blossoms are not open!
A perfect day to start the Culinary Herbalism course. I believe we are what we eat. As you can see, I am committed to learning more about the plants we grow as food and to those plants that offer themselves to us, like chickweed, dandelions, burdock and others. Many of these plants I considered bothersome in my gardens. Now they are encouraged in some areas and controlled in others.

The enrollment for Culinary Herbalism closes today for anyone who is interested.

(I love the special bonus gift which includes Stellaria media, chickweed, which I have selected to learn more about this spring.)
